Hi, it's nice to you
If I was to ask you... what is the most important thing in your life was...
What would your answer be?
My answer would be Freedom, Having Peace of Mind... and Purpose!
Common situations that make people feel trapped or stressed?
-a job or a business that's going now where... and could be sucking you dry of time and money
-life situations that make you feel like you're in a sinking ship
-having ambition and aspirations... but being afraid that life will pass you by... without achieving them
That's how I felt 35 years ago...
I was in my mid twenties, married with our first daughter, had taken over part of the family farm and was trying to expand, working a full time job for an oil company... and we had just built a new home.
Needless to say I had no time for anyone or anything... and all I could think of was being free.

I had been researching several business ideas... trying to find an opportunity that would give us a great income and time freedom but I found that most businesses are like buying a job.
But my family were very unhappy with me being gone al the time and then my dad passed away suddenly... and I realized that I was walking in his foot steps. I had to start living.
I had found a Network Marketing Company I really liked and loved the products. It was the only thing I felt capable of giving me freedom.
We attended a meeting where I met several down to earth, non sales type people who were earning very impressive part time incomes with this food company.
The main speaker alone was earning about $20,000 per month and that was in 1986...
There it was... a chance to build something from scratch with no overhead, a business that I owned and could sell, it was honest-moral and ethical and if I built it right... I would pay me a passive income... maybe for life.
I also thought... "if they can do it, so can I."

After that I attended a couple of generic workshops on Network Distribution, read a few books on it and realized that is was exactly what I had been looking for!
I smile when I hear people say 'they have no time...'
If anyone could say that... it was me.
I carved out a few minutes everyday at coffee breaks, lunch time, while running errands etc... to talk to people.
We were 17 miles from town, there was no internet and we shared a phone line with an oil company.

Once we started building our business, it took 14 months... to be able to quit my job... and the Network Marketing Company purchased this beautiful little Mercedes for us in early 1990. The car was great... but the freedom I gained was a dream come true.
Was it easy? No!!!
But the effort it took to build the business was nothing compared to the heartbreak of dealing with my daughter's tears every morning as I headed out the door for work... knowing there was a good chance I wouldn't see her again that day... other than a quick dinner maybe. Everything was a rush!
My goal was pretty simple. HAVE A LIFE! Get my income up to $3,000 - $4,000 per month as soon as possible... and build it strong so it would be walk away income. That way I would have the income to look our life... and then move on to other ventures if I felt like it... and move to a warm climate.
But I fell in love with the business and everything it stood for and kept building it!
What was the secret to our success?
People have asked me many times what our secret was to building a keeping... a strong business in this industry:
There are many points that seemed to be important... but the main one other than having a product that people love... and treating the business like I invested $100,000 on it... was having a burning desire to be free...
And taking as many people with us as we could.
We started earning more vehicles... a GMC Jimmy in 1992 and in 1994 the company agreed to buy us a tractor.... but we decided it was time to quit farming and move to a warmer climate. We got a boat instead.
Being able to move my family when they were young to an area like this... to be able to work part time... and be home to watch them grow up... was another dream come true!

I spoke about freedom at the beginning of this page. There are so many benefits to building a business in Network Distribution other than earning a good income and working from home. The personal development, the skills you develop, the friends, community... but maybe the biggest benefit is the fact that when difficult situations show up, and you need time for you... you have an income to get you through it.
My wife and I parted in 2002 and split the business... giving both of us both very nice passive incomes.
When a person goes through that... cutting the lawn is hard work... let alone going to work. It was all I could do to raise my three teenagers at that point.
I often wondered, how people make it through a divorce... and still go to a job or run a business everyday!

That seems like a lifetime ago now... but my three daughters grew up and life went on. I took some time away from the business and had a chance to do some things on my bucket list.
What I learned was that there is nothing that compares to the freedom... the excitement and the challenge that the business of Network Distribution offers.
The relationships that you develop are also very rewarding. The team that you develop often become some of your best friends. I've traveled the world with many of my team.

The thing I notice in these photos is how I have less hair as the years go by.
The thing you can't see... is that all through the years I kept learning. I am usually taking a course, working with a coach or reading a book on something.
I really got into it this last three years learning social media, new technology, updating systems and experimenting with new Distributors... to learn the truth about what actually works.
I just finished creating a generic course from the concepts that made the biggest impact to my business and coaching others over the years... combined with a concentrated version of what I just learned in the last three years.

I'm so happy to be back into the industry building again! The company that I've been with all these years has gone though a huge update on the business side of the company.
They also just built a new million square ft. manufacturing facility in Texas housing the new equipment they needed to role out a new line of cutting edge products.
Its a very good time!
Thanks for stopping by and I hope we get to meet one day.
Sincerely,
Jim Pendree
